This Blog has been set up to celebrate class, as well as individual successes for the members of A2. As the year progresses, examples of each child's learning will be added to their Learning Portfolios, located down the right. Specific, class wide pages, can be located underneath the children's labels. Please enjoy, and let your child share his/ her work with you.

Term 3 Fitness Assessment
Explanation of assessment: The children performed a series of exercises/ activites at the beginning of the term and recorded their scores on the card (left side). The children then repeated the same exercise at the end of the term and once again recorded their scores on the (right side) card. Hopefully their scores, and therefore their fitness/ skills increased over that period of time. The video shows the children participating in each activity.

Term 3 Goals

Self Assessment of Term 3 Goals (September 2014) I was able to find the perimeter of a 2D shape and also the area, and I am still learning to find the volume of a 3D shape. I am able to use more of my spelling words in my wriring, but I need to take a reader home every day. I learnt all of the dance moves for the production, and I think I achieved my value goal by owning up to my own mistakes and doing an honest days work (when I don't chat too much).
